We Feed Purina Pro Plan 30/20 All Life Stages

We have been feeding our dogs and puppies Purina Pro Plan 30/20 All Life Stages and we are so happy we switched over from the other brand we were feeding.

We have seen so many benefits from feeding Purina Pro Plan 30/20 the health of their coat of fur to the health of the digestive track.

Puppies grow amazingly well on this food and look so beautiful. This is a great food to feed from puppy to adult.

GoodDog Recognizes OC Goldens As Excellent

Good Dog classifies breeders' health testing into "Good," "Great," and "Excellent" levels based on self-reported, verified testing that exceeds minimum standards. The "Excellent" designation specifically recognizes breeders who go above and beyond in, for example, cardiac, eye, hip, and spine evaluations, ensuring rigorous health checks.

AKC Recognizes OC Goldens For Health Testing

The AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T.program is an American Kennel Club (AKC) initiative that recognizes breeders who commit to specific health testing and continuing education standards. The acronym H.E.A.R.T.stands for Health, Education, Accountability, Responsibility, and Tradition.

Starting Your Pup Off On The Right Paw Is So Important

Starting Your Pup Off On The Right Paw Is So Important

Puppy training is important because it builds the foundation for a well-behaved, confident, and happy adult dog. Early guidance shapes how a puppy understands the world and responds to it.

Here are the key reasons why puppy training matters:

1. Builds Good Behavior Early
Puppies learn quickly. Teaching basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and leash manners early prevents bad habits from forming and makes future training much easier.

2. Strengthens the Human–Dog Bond
Training creates clear communication between you and your puppy. When your puppy understands what you expect, trust grows and your relationship becomes stronger.

3. Supports Socialization
Early exposure to people, environments, sounds, and other dogs helps prevent fear and aggression later in life. Proper socialization leads to a calm and confident adult dog.

4. Improves Safety
Commands like “come” and “leave it” can protect your puppy from dangerous situations, such as running into traffic or ingesting harmful objects.

5. Encourages Mental Stimulation
Training provides mental exercise, which is just as important as physical activity. A mentally stimulated puppy is less likely to develop destructive behaviors out of boredom.

6. Prevents Behavior Problems
Issues like excessive barking, chewing, jumping, and separation anxiety are easier to prevent than to fix. Early training reduces the risk of long-term behavioral challenges.

In short, puppy training isn’t just about obedience—it’s about setting your dog up for a lifetime of success, confidence, and companionship.
